Divorce Shield was founded in 2008 by a team of professionals with over 200 years of collective experience advising clients in law, banking, finance, tax, real estate, counseling and credit. After helping thousands of clients, the founders realized that a huge gap existed in the divorce process...protecting finances in time of crisis.

Clients would end up going to their family lawyer, banker, insurance agent, financial planner, estate attorney, real estate agent, tax accountant, family counselor or church leader to find out what they needed to do in each area of their lives.

The problem was that many of the professionals didn't talk to each other during this process. Each professional would act on their own, without consulting the other. Many of the professionals requested the same information as the others creating redundancies and higher service costs to the client.  In addition, most clients would end up receiving conflicting advice from the various professionals they consulted with causing confusion and anxiety.

No solution on the market offered the financial protection and guidance needed at an affordable price, so the founders created Divorce Shield as a solution to assist people once divorce was unavoidable.  Our goal is to help educate and empower people to make wise financial decisions, all while helping clients gain Clarity, Control and Confidence throughout the process.
